TFG does operate a ‘brick and mortar’ studio in Burnaby, allowing for live collaboration and a ‘home base’ when needed.

Neil Fancourt – The founder of The Fancourt Group. Prior to TFG, Neil was the Creative Director at Intrawest; a position he also founded. Educated in Western Australia, Neil first worked in Marketing at Coca Cola before moving to Whistler in 1997. Although officially on a snowboard vacation, Neil quickly saw potential within Intrawest and formed the Interactive Media team to capitalize on the growing importance of the Internet and e-commerce. Neil is a true entrepreneur, an advantage he brings to his client relationships. He is always looking for innovative ways to improve a client’s business and realize their untapped potential.

Tim McNicoll – Tim brings to the team over 20 years of direct marketing experience, and literally wrote the book on DRM best practices. (Tim was commissioned to write the Direct Marketing Playbook/Manual for Intrawest in 2003). Tim is an established veteran and unequaled expert in marketing communications; nothing drives and satisfies him more than results and seeing a client succeed through direct response marketing. In addition to his talents as a creative writer, Tim serves on the advisory committee for TFG.

Allan Alfonso – Allan is a Senior Art Director with an exceptional eye for detail and layout. Allan has worked as a professional designer for both large multinational companies and small agencies in addition to freelance work. Through his understated demeanor and perceptive intuition, Allan immediately establishes credibility with any client and can confidently and competently deliver creative that works and turns heads.

Kyle Darbyson – With over eight years experience as a Creative Writer, Kyle is able to quickly interpret a client’s requirements and decipher a brief into an effective, well-constructed communication. Kyle has a unique talent in being able to combine a flair for experiential writing with tactical skills in messaging hierarchy.

Laurie Landry – Thanks to her talents as an emerging artist, Laurie brings a fresh creative perspective to every project. Her perception of colour and space enable her to quickly design stunning visuals that work in harmony with campaign strategy and brand. Laurie is well known by the team as the ‘silent achiever’ and can put her head down and generate excellent work with astonishing efficiency.

Ross Henderson – Ross has worked his way around the world and accumulated over 10 years experience in creative and direct marketing. Formally educated in the UK, his experience both agency side and client side make Ross particularly conscientious in understanding client requirements and interpreting marketing strategy. Ross spent several years at DDB in Sydney Australia where he was a senior member of the direct marketing team, focused on prestige clients.

Michelle Coleman – The Queen of Many Crowns, Michelle is a valuable asset to TFG. Michelle has over 10 years of experience in advertising, and has worked in several roles which have shaped her into a well rounded marketing professional. She has several years of campaign management experience, and is able to work with clients to form contact strategy, manage timelines and measure results. Michelle also has 5+ years experience in print production management.

Michael Wong – Previously the owner and COO of a successful digital marketing start up in Vancouver, Mike brings with him unparalleled expertise in HTML & web production. Mike is also a veritable genius when it comes to search engine optimization and coined the phrase ‘Get Googled Guaranteed.” Mike demonstrates extraordinary attention to detail, and prides himself in his surgical precision when it comes to HTML development, optimization and testing.

Sean Wood – Sean was a senior member of the Intrawest Creative Group, and a valued member of the team since 2004. Previously Sean worked at Whistler Blackcomb as a foundation member on the Interactive Media Team with Neil Fancourt. Sean has also owned his own business and is an accomplished commercial photographer. He is a talented Art Director as well as an experienced HTML and FLASH developer. Additionally, Sean is a self-described ‘obsessive’ when it comes to campaigns results, and is a huge advocate of improvement through continual testing and application.
